| I'm so nervous about tonight. Opening night. And I hate my orthodontist. At my last appointment he told me I would get my braces off in May, now he's made it the end of August. I am SO SICK OF THESE THINGS. So, at the moment I'm extremely bitter about it, not to mention angry. I've been loser kid with the braces and acne for way too long. I'm tired of trying not to show my teeth when I smile because I know they'll look black. I'm tired of constantly having sore spots inside my mouth because once again my braces have sliced open my cheeks or whatever. I HATE THIS! | | |
| Arg, it's barbaric. Three things I hate the most were forced on me today. Listed in from the worst to the worstest: Dresses, nylons, and heels. I have always been a tomboy, and I believe I will continue to be one. High heels + my feet = LARGE AMOUNTS OF PAIN. Yes, I believe that is all I have to say, I shall bid you adieu, because I must go and complete two projects in a very short period of time, for tomorrow. | | |
| Ok, I have taken my first dosage of Malaria pills, only to come to the sudden and nasty revelation that they taste ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! You leave them in your mouth for half a second and then when you swallow them it's this incredibly disgusting taste left there that only gets worse when you try to swallow more water to get rid of it. EEEWW. That is all.
Youth rally tonight was fun, in the beginning it was kind of iffy, but it got loads better. Oh yeah, Partyman is my hero (and the Partyman dance is fun for all TWO of us that did it... yeah Catherine). And Tim Hortons was fun afterwards, Wendy's failed us miserably, EAT GREAT EVEN LATE WHATEVER!!! Stupid drive through. Good ol Tim Hortons, twas splendiferous.
This concludes today's broadcast, thank you for tuning in.
| I'm getting so excited for Costa Rica. 12 days until we leave!! Stuff is starting to come together.
Working in preschool is so much fun, I love it. So many hilarious things happen and the kids are so cool. Like last night, they were playing hide and seek (hard to do in a room with NO hiding spots) and three of the boys went into the bathroom and locked themselves in the stalls and Jarrett couldn't get them to come out. Twas funny, but apparently not for him.
Now that I have the use of a board I really want to go snowboarding, just watch, by the time I get back from Costa Rica all the snow will be crappy again.
The play is coming up really fast I'm going to be SO nervous on opening night, this is my first big play. Anyone who wants to come on the Thursday would be much appreciated . But I still don't know when tickets are going on sale.
| Working with the preschool kids was SO much fun. Their toys are so much cooler than ours were (except for a few like lego and marbleworks, right Bekah?). And I have to say that their Sunday school is way cooler than mine ever was. Compared to this, my Sunday school was pretty bad. My clearest memory was when I had a piece of Hubba bubba, I blew a bubble almost the size of my head and it popped and got stuck in my eyebrows. Oh yeah, and I remember having to wear lots of uncomfortable dresses. Anyhow, I'm going to love being a shepherd.
I got a bass today. It's so sweet. *Drools* I got it for a good price too. Now I just have to learn how to play it.
